My Street Bird Prints are made on a risograph machine named Phyllis. It is a lot like screen printing, but for paper. I use white cardstock. The risograph uses soy emulsion ink with each layer passing through the device three times, once for each color. The layering of dotted ink is what gives the risograph its charm. Each print is signed by me, mailed carefully in a clear sleeve, and backed by a chipboard to protect it during transit.
Measures 8.5x11 inches
***NOTE: if you look closely at the photos, you will see misalignments, roller marks, and random ink dots. Some might even have markings on the back from being in a stack. These markings are not considered to be flaws, but another charm of the Risograph. Every print has its own quirks and is one of a kind, just like you and me. I approve each one before mailing an order.
